Choosing a massage therapist is about more than skill — it’s about trust, understanding, and genuine care. With over two decades of experience, I bring professionalism, compassion, and expertise to every session.

I began my massage therapy career in 2001 after graduating from Blue Cliff College in Lafayette, Louisiana. My passion for helping people move and feel better has guided my work for more than 20 years. I hold both an Associate’s Degree in Exercise Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, giving me a deep understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and rehabilitation.

I have worked in chiropractic and physical therapy clinics, integrative medicine practices, and wellness centers across the U.S. and Canada. My treatments combine massage with practical rehabilitation tools such as stretching and strengthening techniques, posture correction and ergonomic education, and mobility and movement training. This comprehensive approach helps clients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their daily function.

I am a registered member of the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta. Whether you are seeking corrective care, maintenance therapy, or simply a chance to relax, I welcome you to experience my intuitive and therapeutic approach to massage.

Alana’s journey to massage began in 2016 when she enrolled in the Registered Massage Therapy program at Mount Royal University. Her desire to help others is inspired by her sports background, her passion for empowering others, and her interest in the mind-body connection.

Alana immediately fell in love with learning about the human body and all the ways applying touch could help alleviate symptoms and induce a state of relaxation. She believes that our “go-go-go” lifestyles should be supplemented with rest and is happy to provide a service that helps people achieve a restful and balanced state of being. Alana feels strongly about using massage to help people create a positive relationship with their bodies by stimulating different body systems to facilitate healing. She uses a number of different techniques, such as Swedish relaxation, deep tissue, manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial release and stretching/strengthening muscles in her treatments to help address several conditions. Whether your goal is to reduce chronic tension, reduce pain associated with an injury, relaxation, or any number of other concerns, Alana is here to help you create and achieve your goals.

When Alana is not massaging, she enjoys working out, playing with her cats, camping, hanging out with friends, playing sports, bike riding, craft beer, and eating delicious food!
